This weekend
I was talking with my close friend, Chrissy, about make up for the wedding. I have been deeply devoted to mineral powder foundation for years. I love the finish, coverage, and how light it feels on my skin. I have tried various brands, which I can review in another post later if there is interest. Chrissy mentioned that she had heard that mineral power foundations don't photograph well, and therefore should not be used for the wedding! I tried to find evidence of this on the internet, without any luck. Have any of you heard about this?? Say it aint so!
Also, I am still looking for a good make up artist for the wedding. Any suggestions?

Hey Gabrielle,
The mineral make up is very cool. Very dramatic. Were you going for a dramatic look or a more classic look along with a classic hairstyle? I'll keep an eye out for any articles on mineral makeup.

I'm going for a more classic look, like the hair! (I just liked that green eyelash image on the post for fun ;-) ) But I had heard that the mineral foundation has mica and other light reflective components that might not do well with flash photography. I don't know if that is the case or not. Thanks for the look out!
Libbie said she'd do a trial run if you're interested....let me know.
Kristin, I would love that! We can talk later about that. :)
Meee!!! I'll do it, of course I have a wee drinking problem, but other than that I'm pretty good, I did my own make-up for theater, of course that was community theater, and I have a tendancy to overdo the eyeliner.. anywho nice picture.
